We have created a number of products using a custom post type called 'Products'. The client now wishes to duplicate this content, as the products are now available in a new finish. Essentially they are the same products, but with a slightly different title, a new image, and other small changes.

Rather than creating them all again from scratch, is there a way to duplicate the existing products in bulk and then change the required content accordingly?

Here is the website in question: hidden link

Many thanks,
Tom (Futuresys)

Hi, Toolset doesn't include a post duplication feature so I'm not sure what the best approach would be here. You could look for a third-party post duplicator plugin, or look for a custom script that manipulates the database. At any rate, those are outside the scope of Toolset's features, so support here in the forum would be limited.

Thanks for coming back to me so quickly Christian. It's a shame this functionality doesn't exist, but I appreciate your help and will look to external plugins. All the best, Tom
