Duplicate Custome Fields Group

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi, I have a very long custom fields group that I need to make several variations of. Rather than creating the variations from scratch, if there a way to copy my existing group, so I can rename the copy and modify the fields as needed?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - there is no feature available to duplicate the post field group (custom field group). And this request is not feasible enough to send it for assessment as a new feature request as to clone custom field group is not a good idea as field slugs are unique and after clone, if someone missed the field slug to change it will break the site.

So, the only alternative is you need to add fields manually one by one.
