[Resolved] dropdown default value not working

This support ticket is created 5 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I expected to see: 'Client' as the first choice in the dropdown

As mentioned in the documentation, the "wpv-control-post-relationship" shortcode, doesn't support any "placeholder" attribute:

To include an empty default select option in that select field, you can use a custom script, as suggested in this thread:

my workaround was a reset button. but it would be nice to have a placeholder to 'choose all'. just not worth custom scripting. thanks!
