[Resolved] Does Image Map Pro short codes work with post fields?

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I use Image Map Pro, and I would like to use a custom field to display an Image Map Pro image map shortcode.

Solution: If you use a WYSIWYG custom field, you may insert any 3rd-party shortcode in the field content and see the results rendered on the site where you place the WYSIWYG field shortcode.

I'm creating an interactive website for a new home builder. I want to include an interactive new home community sitemap using the Image Map Pro plugin to showcase sold and available properties with images.

Question: is it possible to use their map shortcodes within the custom field type?

Hi, if you use a WYSIWYG custom field, you may insert any 3rd-party shortcode in the field content and see the results rendered on the site where you place the WYSIWYG field shortcode. I haven't used the paid version of this plugin before, but they offer a free Lite version. I just downloaded that and ran a quick test, and I'm able to insert an image map shortcode in a WYSIWYG field, then show the WYSIWYG field in a Content Template. The image map is rendered as expected. Here's a screen capture.
