For the maps around the site i need a way to display routes using certain GPX files.

I did not found any related documentation for implementing a route on Toolset maps. I was wondering if there any way to do it.

Dear Hendrik,

There isn't such a built-in feature within Toolset map plugin, if you agree, we can take it as a feature request, our developers will evaluate it, currently you can check our "Toolset Contractors" for it:

Just wondering if this is a feature that's going to be added to the plugin over time, or whether OP managed to find a solution or a developer who could provide it? It's something we need and while we'd like it to be part of the plugin, realise we may well have to pay a developer to implement. Could i formally request this as a feature request as well? I'm also wondering if we could crowd-source the development of more specialist functions like this that could then be included in the plugin for all to use?
