Tell us what you are trying to do?

When users log into:
hidden link

They can see a loop of Custom Posts they have created.

They have the options to VIEW or EDIT

For example:

To VIEW Project 5, they go here:
hidden link

To EDIT Project 5, they go here:
hidden link

As right now, the same sidebar gets display on the right side.
I would like to have a different sidebar show up accordingly.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
None

Is there a similar example that we can see?
No

What is the link to your site?
hidden link
It's a members only site, I will gladly give you access to it.

Hi,

I assume you are using the Layouts plugin, you can setup two different layouts with different widget area cell, for example:
1) one layout is for "VIEW Project 5", with a specific widget area cell
2) The another layout is for EDIT Project 5, with another specific widget area cell

See our document:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/widget-area-cell/
Layouts provides an easy way to extend widget areas by using the Widget Area cell.
