I am trying to: make my single post content templates truly fullwidth (edge to edge)

This issue was fixed for me, by your support, several months ago. Here is a link to the resolved support ticket:

This solution is no longer working for me...I'm not sure if it is due to a Divi update, a Toolset update, or to something else.

Any thoughts?

Toolset and DIVI present some issues mainly due to Bootstrap Conflicts with the DIVI HTML:

https://toolset.com/documentation/recommended-themes/toolset-divi-integration/matching-divi-styling-using-toolset/#styling-custom-posts-and-post-archives

The code Luo Provides just resets some HTML classes to what you expect them to do, but I do not see explicitly what the issue was (wether or not it was due to the Bootstrap issues)

For starters, can you use the DOC above to set your website so to comply with the steps outlined there?
I see you already do not use layouts, but it seems you still use Bootstrap which should not be used.
As well there are several other hints and code adjustments to perform to adapt the styles.

If after this issue persists, can you inform me?
