Ideally I would like the Toolset features to be disabled altogether for native WordPress Posts and Pages. Is it possible to create a custom filtering function within functions.php so that Toolset can be disabled for Posts and Pages?

Hello,

There isn't such kind of built-in feature to disabled Toolset features for native WordPress Posts and Pages.

I assume it is similar problem as your previous thread:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/developer-built-custom-theme-w-toolset-lost-none-for-posts-pages/

See answer in above thread, you can setup setting "Content Template" as "None", then use your theme file to render the post/page content.
