THIS IS NOT A NEW ISSUE, BUT a COPY of WHAT I HAVE SENT EARLIER. Can not see that it have reached you
==================================================================================

Tell us what you are trying to do?
============================
We have a website, where we use Toolset plugins. On a page we have a map (Google Maps) located together with two Taxonomy filters. One for different properties of locations and one for distance.

At the request of our customers, we want to extend this to allow the customer to mark their favourites and then on return be able to search for them.

Each marker's location is based on coordinates. In the marker's text there is a link to a Post in the Field Group “Parkeringsvärd” (100 posts). A link opens a page with the content of the Post.

The customer wants to mark some of the Posts as favourites.

We use the Favoriteposts.com plug in.

We have without result tried to, in Toolset Settings/Front-end-content, change Short codes.
Only logged in users should have access to mark favourites.

We don't have WPML, due to the fact that the translations did not work.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Hi Trygve

I read through your post, and I see that you are using the FavoritePosts plugin to add its functionality of marking posts as favourites.

But I'm not quite sure what the problem is you are describing.

Is it that only logged-in users should be allowed to mark as a favourite?

Where do the users mark the post as a favourite? When viewing the individual post?

Thank you for the quick response.

I try to clarify here what I want to achieve. Two IMAGES

1. After logging in you will have a page MAPN with markers. And when clicking on a marker there is a text: Name of the place and a link to a page. IMAGE 1

2. There are two search possibilities:

a. “Filter” to make it possible for searching for different properties and facilities like El, Greywater, Mobile home >9m, Pets, Black water, Garbage, Water and Wi-Fi.

b. “Distance” to see markers within of set distance of your location or another place

3. Clicking on the link, mentioned above, will result in a page representing the place of the marker concerned. Here you will find a blue button labelled “Favorite”.On click it turns black and the text changes to “Favorited”. IMAGE 2

4. Our customers want, moreover the Filter and Distance, have the opportunity to only get their own Favorite markers visible on the map.

5. The map is for logged in users only.

Here is a sandbox site and you can auto-login to it using the following link:

Here is the front-end page where you can see distance search with other filters and map:

Here is the backend and you can learn how the above page is build:

The above sandbox site example page "find-property" seems most of the requirement you are looking for.
