Hi there,

We're using legacy Views.

When I create a view, there's an option to group fields in a Content Template. The default is to create the content template. If I later change my mind, how do I delete the associated content template? On the Toolset > Content Templates screen in the WordPress dashboard, when I hover over a content template, there's no delete option. Please refer to the attached screenshot. Do I need to manually delete the content template from the database?

Thanks.

Saul

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

if you can check with the screenshot you shared:

The "Used On" column shows where the content template is used. As the content template is already in used within the view's loop you will not be able to delete it.

Either you will have to delete the view or view's temmplate (template added within the view's loop) and then the content templatte will be free from the usage and then you will be able to delete it.

Before performing any delete action please make sure you take full backup of your database as in any worst case if you delete it by mistake you will have a backup to restore it.
