I cannot add another related post to a one-to-one relationship after deleting one of the posts.

'Clients' and 'Projects' are two custom post types that are related to each other one-to-one

A site editor was reviewing a project page and wanted to change the 'Client' that was related to a 'Project' post.

Instead of disconnecting the 'Client' in the relationship list, the editor clicked 'Trash' instead.

The editor wants to relate the correct client to this project but now the 'Connect Existing Client' and 'Add New Client' buttons are disabled for that Project.

I've clicked all the buttons on the Troubleshooting page to no effect.

Hi Chris,

Thank you for getting in touch.

We are aware of this issue and have an errata prepared for this.
https://toolset.com/errata/trashing-a-parent-post-disables-the-related-posts-ui-for-connected-child-posts/

Unfortunately we don't have a solution that is released for this but it is being worked on to be fixed by our development team.

Thanks,
Shane
