Dear Toolset team,

I have created a website using a ready made theme, but then was hit by many limitations for customizing and adding functionality to the site. Now, I am starting over and would like to use the toolset to create my site from scratch. The current site URL is hidden link
As you can see, it is offering classified ads for wedding dresses and event services.

My question is, in order to use toolset to the best, do I use a different post type for each category? Like,
- Dresses
- Wedding Halls
- Photography and Videography
- Flowers and Cakes
- Hospitality Services
- Honeymoon Packages

And so on .. Each of those category would normally having different set of numbers, checkboxes or select fields types.

Would that have any other impact on the search capabilities in the future as I proceed?

Regards,

Aziz

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Before you take any step forward, I would like to inform you that Toolset offers free test platform http://www.discover-wp.com where we offer ready made sites build on top using Toolset.

Here are the reference sites we offer:

You can install any reference site and check how those build that will give you further idea. In addition to that we offer step by step courses that you should follow as well:

Regarding the structure of your site we can not tell much as its dynamic and its differ person to person for a single requirement. But if you have content and want to store extra information regarding that content then you should go with post type.

Here is the course that shows how you can build custom post types, custom fields and taxonomies:

You can even install any of the reference site we offer on http://www.discover-wp.com on your local machine using the framework installer plugin:

I suggest you should first play with any of reference site and check what is the best optimum solution for you and then decide with what structure you would like to go ahead.
