[Resolved] Dates before 1583 Core file

We need to be able to select dates before 1583. I see conflicting response to this problem.
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/in-date-picker-select-years-before-1583/ that sys the issue will be solved in Types 2.3 and others that says it can't be done. Anyway, we are not going to change the date dropdown to a regular filed as we have so much data entered already. Can you point me in the right direction (the core file) so we can edit the core file with more dates? Thanks

Hi, the latest word is that our developers classified this as a "won't fix" issue: https://toolset.com/errata/toolset-datepicker-date-limitations/

That means developers won't help me investigate everything that needs to change in the software to support lower date ranges. Changing the minimum value could have unexpected consequences, and I can't recommend or support this type of modification here in the forums.

I can assist with data migration if needed, since you mentioned some concern with a large amount of existing data. If you'd like to discuss that in more detail, I'll be glad to split off a separate ticket just for that task.
