[Resolved] Datepicker with Enfold Theme

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I am trying to filter a View by custom date fields, but the datepickers do not appear to work as expected.

Solution: There is a conflict with the Enfold theme. Until it can be resolved, use workaround #2 in the following erratum post.

Hello, I will be glad to help. It looks like you want to use datepicker inputs in your custom search archive, but the fields are showing up as text inputs instead. Can you try these troubleshooting steps?
- Change "Type di controllo" to Selettore di data
- Change "Confronta il valore come" to "numero"
- Temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Twenty and deactivate all plugins except Types and Blocks
- Test again on the front-end of the site. Can you see datepickers now? Can you use the datepickers to choose dates?
- If the datepickers are working, try reactivating your theme and other plugins one by one until the problem returns.
- If the datepickers are still not working, I'll take a closer look.

Please let me know what you find out and we can go from there.

Trying to set Twenty Twenty theme I see the datapickers and search and results are working good.
Trying to set the last edition of Enfold the datapickers didn't work...

Setting the English language it works, is it possible to use the italian language?

Setting the English language it works, is it possible to use the italian language?
I'm not sure I understand what you mean, can you clarify for me? Are you saying that the datepickers work well with Enfold when you change the WP site language to English?

#1552255

Dear Christian,
with WordPress language setted on English, your plugin works.
If I set on italian language don't work.

I've fixed this issue selecting another language.

Okay in my local tests the datepickers in Enfold do not work in English or Italian. Unfortunately Enfold is notoriously incompatible with Toolset, and we aren't able to maintain much of a relationship with their developers. I'll ask my 2nd tier support team if there's anything we can do about this, but I doubt we will be able to get much help from Enfold. I'll update you tomorrow and let you know what I find out.

Hi, my 2nd tier team has determined that the problem here is related to the following erratum post: https://toolset.com/errata/views-slider-does-not-work-when-the-enfold-theme-is-active/

Please implement Workaround #2 in the erratum post and let me know if the datepicker is still not working as expected.

My issue is partially resolved now.

Hi Stefano,

Our development team has released version 1.2 of our Blocks plugin that should resolve this issue.

Thanks,
Shane
