Tell us what you are trying to do? Is there a way for map markers to correspond to posts, say using a corresponding number?
Is there any documentation that you are following? I have looked at the Marker Focus solution, but it is not exactly what I want. Is that the closest solution?

I know this is a much more sophisticated solution, but just wondering if there is any type of option. My users will most likely print this page and it would be great for them to be able to visually match the markers.

Currently, The blocks editor does not allow extended customization of the markers. But using the legacy editor you can customize the marker icon for each post of the results using its index.

There may be a way to customize the blocks based map/markers, but I don't know yet how to do it, I'll need to get help from my teammates or our 2nd Tier.

Please let me know if you would prefer to switch to a legacy view and map, and I'll set up and example to help you customize the markers.
Or let me know if you would prefer the blocks based view, and I'll check with the team if we can come up with a custom Javascript code that may help.
Jamal, thank you for your help. I am a new Toolset user so cannot really gage whether using the legacy editor will be best. Let me read through this documentation and play around with map hover properties to see if I can create a logical workaround, before I ask you guys to go to the trouble of writing custom Javascript.

WordPress now uses the block editor and we are following this strategy, we are also encouraging users to use blocks instead of the legacy shortcodes. But, currently, Toolset Blocks do not offer the full spectrum of features that the legacy shortcodes allow. We are adding features but that will take some time 🙂
