I am facing this strange issue with Toolset custom code section that snippets just become inactive automatically.

Recently, all the snippets became inactive, and then I had to manually activate every one of them to make the site functional again.

Today, I found two snippets that were activated in an inactive state.

Have you seen this issue before? What could be causing this? It is annoying because some site functionality just stops working because of inactive snippets.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

I couldn't find any other report about a similar issue, so something specific to the website or server can be involved.

Are you using any security plugin on the website or does your web host has any periodic function that can change the file permissions?

Individual custom code snippets added through Toolset are saved as PHP files in the folder "/wp-content/toolset-customizations/". If a file of a snippet is renamed or inaccessible, it can result in that snippet's deactivation.

Have you checked the server's error log for any errors or warnings? It would also be useful to discuss this matter with the web host, to see if any periodic maintenance activity can affect the ability to run PHP code from files in the "wp-content" folder.

regards,
Waqar
