Hi George

I've picked up the 3 tickets from you, I suspect the issues may be related.

In each case, I expect you may see JS errors in the browser console if you check. Could you please see, and share with me if you find any? (You can reply separately to the 3 forum threads if you find different things with each problem page.)

I'd first like to rule out conflicts arising with some other plugin or your theme (which could have been introduced by an update, for example).

Please disable all plugins except for Toolset, and switch theme to twentytwenty. (It would be helpful if you have a staging site for this.)

Do the issues persist? If not, it should be possible to identify what triggers the conflict by a process of elimination, please let me know.

Finally, to save time communicating, unless you easily spotted the problem, I may need to check your site myself, so let me set up a private reply for you so you can share login credentials, in case I need to take a look.

Theme Issue.jpg

Hi Nigel,

Thank you for the quick reply and help!!!! I deactivated everything except Toolset and Elementor (because when I did the first time my whole site was messed up from a design standpoint). I tried to post an article (custom post #1) and update an athlete (Custom post #2) and everything is back to working normal. However, on my post template (News Article, Athlete Profile -- set up with Elementor/Toolset) there were Recent posts/comments sections over top of my layout (See screen shot). How would I get rid of this? When I start to activate my other plugins, do I do them 1 by 1 to make sure it works with Toolset/Elementor?

Those recent posts, recent comments etc. sections look like they are probably widgets added to a widget area, such as a sidebar.

They would normally be coming from the theme, possibly from Elementor.

If they don't ordinarily appear I guess something that you have deactivated was preventing them from being displayed, and as you re-activate things that problem may take care of itself.

You can re-activate plugins one-by-one and quickly re-test each time, or you could do it in batches, e.g. re-activate 5 plugins, re-test, if one of those seems to be the culprit then test those individually until you locate the problem.

Keep me updated with what you find.

Thanks Nigel! I will check on the widget for the comments showing up. I will start activating a few plugins at a time and test everything. I will reply back when I am finished and then close out the tickets. I appreciate all your help!!
