[Resolved] Custom post type not displaying properly after migration

This support ticket is created 7 years, 3 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

We need an urgent fix! We have just moved a site from staging to live and have a workshops custom post type:

Here is what it should look like on the staging server:

But after the migration on the same page (our custom post archive) all the wordpress pages on the site are being displayed in the main content area and non of the categories are displaying:

We have a similar issue with the blog archive too:
Here is what it looks like on staging:

and now the categories have dissappeared:

I've tried resetting the permalinks but this doesn't fix it.

All we did was change the url references in the the database. How do we get this working properly again?
What did we do wrong here?

Just an update on this.
We found the export/import section in Toolset and this did the trick.
