I am trying to create new custom post types and edit it with elementor, however, after created, the editing page doesn't like the default post editing page where there is an option to edit with Elementor.

Also, I used elementor to create a template (single) and applied it on the new created custom post type, but only part of the template applied successfully, some of the other parts on the template not displayed for the posts under the custom post type.

I attached two image snapshots for your info. The 1st one is for the custom post type-funding, without the elementor editing option. The 2nd is the default post with elementor editing option.

Any solutions?

Thanks.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - to enable the Gutenberg for custom post type created using Types, you need to enable the "show_in_rest" option by editing your custom post type.

Please check following Doc for more detailed steps and instructions to follow:
=> https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/how-toolset-plugins-work-with-gutenberg/#how-to-enable-the-show_in_rest_option-for-a-custom-post-type

Thank you for your quick response.

I did what it said on the document, checked the option of show in rest and saved, however, I didn't see any changes after opening the custom post type, there is only one option of New button.

Well - I do not able to see what Types plugin you are using but with latest Types plugin when I activated the "show_in_rest" option by editing custom post type created using Types plugin and save the post type I see the buttons as described in the Doc - Please check following screenshot:
=> hidden link

I suggest you test with the latest Toolset plugins and default theme. (Please deactivate all third-party plugins for now.)

Now I understood what you mentioned in your previous replies. It has to be worked with Gutenberg plugin. I now could see the option of Gutenberg under Add new.

However, what I originally asked was about the option of editing it with elementor page builder. So it is not available in the custom post types?

ahh - If you wanted to use Elementor editor you should activate it from Elementor General settings.

Go to: Elementor => Elementor => General Settings => Post Types and activate your post types and save settings.
