I created a new CPT and added custom fields. I had previously done this but deleted all the fields and CPT after learning how to use the relationships in a better way. When I try to add a new post none of the custom fields appear in the back end form. This is similar to the issues found in the following tickets.
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/custom-fields-not-appearing-on-edit-custom-post-page-for-new-post-type/
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/custom-fields-not-appearing-in-admin/

I have updated to the latest versions of the plugins and tried deleting and recreating all the custom fields and CPT. I have disabled all plugins except toolset and the problem still occurs.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - can you please tell me which post type you created and what custom field group you want to attach to that post type?

Please share access details so I can review your setup.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

well - I checked on your install and I see that the custom post field group you mentioned "Field Group for File Share Requests" is displayed when you edit the post :
=> hidden link

I also see that assigned fields are showing with the related post type psots.
hidden link

Can you please clarify bit more, maybe add few screenshots that will help me to understand what fields are missing that you claim are not displaying in the backend?
