I am trying to assign custom fields to post types, but they're not showing up when I edit or create a new instance of that custom post type. I have 3 custom field groups: one for a cpt called Home Categories, one for Posts, and one for a cpt called Quizzes & Surveys. None show up in the edit pages for the post types. I have switch the theme as well as disabled all possible plugins and the issue remains. This particular site is linked up to wordpress.com and has jetpack enabled. Could that be causing anything?

This is the first time I've had issues with Types and I've used it on all my websites, so I just find this odd.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - this is really strange. I see the custom field group is set to display with specific post type. This seems there must be a conflict between the third party plugin or theme.

In order to minimize the cause of the issue:
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?

Do you see any errors on your browser's console?

I tried deactivating all plugins besides types and wp-views, as well as switching the theme, but the problem still persists. The site is in production so this was supposed to be just a quick add - I didn't foresee having THIS type of issue. Strange indeed. The one thing that I thought of is that this site is linked up and managed by wordpress.com and the Jetpack plugin can't be deactivated, so I'm not able to check if Toolset is conflicting with Jetpack.

This is really strange, indeed.

Could you please share information with which custom field group have issue with?

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Hi Minesh, I was preparing a clone of the site in hopes to replicate the issue and give you access, however, upon looking at the production site, it seems the issue just went away. The fields are all showing up now and I literally did nothing. I'm not sure what happened, but the issue resolved itself as strangely as it appeared. I'm baffled. Anyway, it seems that we're all good here!
