Custom Fields No Longer Associating with New Custom Post Types

This support ticket is created 6 years, 6 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to:
Create a Custom Field Group and associate it with a newly created custom post type

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
custom field group "package-details" custom post type Packages

I expected to see:
the custom field group package details inside the add/edit post type screen of custom post type Packages

Instead, I got:
nothing.....and clicking post field control will get a timed out error

Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble investigating this. I logged into your wp-admin area using the credentials you provided, and I don't see a Post Field Group called "Package Details". I see "Field Group for Packages", which appears on the Package post editor as expected (see screenshot). When I click "Post Field Control" I'm not seeing the timeout error you mentioned (see screenshot). Were you able to resolve these problems on your own? If not, let me know if there are other steps I should take to see the problem.
