Toolset Block Menu.PNG

Hello, I am trying to create a view for a list of articles and following the training video. Unfortunately the custom field types I created for the articles are not showing up as options in the ToolSet menu when I am adding a block. I am wondering if there is an issue with my theme (Article Directory)? Thank you.

The theme should not affect setting this up in the backend.

In your screenshot you have selected "Standard field".

If you want to display a custom field you should choose "Custom field" for the source, and then you will need to choose the custom field group that the field belongs to, and then the field itself.

Is that what you tried? In which case I'm not sure what the screenshot is supposed to show.

Thanks very much Nigel for your help - yes you're right I overlooked clicking on Custom Type. All good now.
