I am trying to: Create a content template for a post type ('Athletes'). I have created the post type and fields. I have then used WPBakery Page Builder to create the content template. When inserting shortcodes for the different fields, they are inserted with curly brackets rather than square as I would have expected. When I look at a single Athlete page, there is no content and I am being told that there are no shortcodes or other content in the template.

I expected to see: As mentioned above, I am expecting to just see the display of a couple of fields (Athlete name, discipline, bio, image)

Instead, I got: Nothing

I have solved the issue – I did not realise I had to first create the content template, and then add the content template into a layout.
