Dear Sir/Madam,

I got an error when I activate the wp-view version 3.0.2 on WordPress version 5.3.2

"There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions."

My PHP is 5.6.32, MySQL is 5.6.38

Best regards,

Kelvin.

Hi Kelvin,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

We've recently identified this issue with Toolset Views, which affects websites with PHP version 5.6.40 or earlier:
https://toolset.com/errata/views-3-0-1-crashes-sites-running-php-version-5-6-40-or-earlier/

A fix for this planned to be included in the next release of Toolset Views "3.0.3" and I'll update you through this ticket, once it releases.

Meanwhile, you can either request your host to update to a newer PHP version, ( for example PHP 7+ which is known to offer better performance too ) or use the patch file from the shared errata link.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.

regards,
Waqar

Hi Kelvin,

I'd like to update that a fix for this was covered in Views 3.1.0.

You're welcome to update to the latest views version and let us know if the issue still persists.

regards,
Waqar
