I need to be able to create CRED forms programatically: this will save me a huge amount of time building and maintaining my sites.

In my testing, I've created a replica of an existing form (with a different name and slug) using PHP. Looking at the post array, it looks fine. However, this form does not appear in the Post Forms listing, and I get the message "Permission denied" when I try to display it.

Is there another step I need to take after creating the post?

Hmmm....

What I didn't do is check/replicate the metadata of forms.

I can see there are several fields/arrays of metadata.

Is the documentation of this available anywhere?

Hi Alex,

Thanks for getting in touch.

Happy you were able to make some progress on this .

However we don't have any documentation on this since the post forms weren't meant to be created like this. The only thing we have is an API document for the hooks for the form submissions.

Thanks,
Shane

That's what I was afraid of, but thanks for confirming.
