Hi Steve,

I was finally able to replicate the issue. The cart product doesn't get added.

Could you try updating your woocommerce to its latest version and see if this issue still remains ?

If it does then I would need to grab a copy of your site for further testing.

Please let me know .

Thanks,
Shane

Shane I updated woo and a couple of other woo related plugins and the issue remains

Shane this site is hosted at wpengine its pretty easy for me to spin up a staging site if that's an easier way for you to have a site to test than duplicating it locally. In any case let me know if can expedite either step for you.

Hi Steve,

Yes please setup the test site for me. This will allow me to work freely without having to worry about damaging your actual site.

My response time will be a bit slower than usual as the support queue load is quite heavy at the moment.

I've enable the private fields once more for you to provide the testing site credentials should they differ from the original ones.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Steve,

Thank you for the patience.

I've done some more testing on the site. This time i've cleared the wpengine cache for the site and the product was being added to the cart.

Here is a short clip of my testing.

Could you try now on your end on the testing site to see if the product is being added?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Steve,

I've given you permissions to see the video.

Could you try clearing your cache and viewing again? Secondly try using your incognito mode on your browser.

Hopefully this is able to resolve it on your end because i've tested on multiple computers and the item gets added. As well as Christian tested this and it was added to the cart as well.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Steve,

No problem. I'm here to assist as best as possible.

Let me know as soon as you've done this testing.

However from my end I believe I got a little more understanding of the issue. What seems to be happening is that the product gets added to the cart After the first failed attempt.

All subsequent attempt after that successfully adds the product to the cart.

This is something I can setup a fresh test form and see if the issue remains .

Thanks,
Shane

Shane that pattern holds for my testing though I wasnt thinking that until you mentioned it.
First test fails subsequent tests succeed

We also had someone yesterday who was unexpectedly taken to the media gallery upload which cause a bunch of confusion

Hi Steve,

Given that the original reason for this thread has been resolved, I will be breaking this ticket off as a separate issue.

This is to ensure that this thread itself does not get too long and overwhelming while we work through this issue.

The original reason for this thread is for the Code redirect that Christian had provided and this has been resolved.

The separate thread will allow us to handle the new issue where the product is not getting added to the cart.

You can mark this ticket as resolved and we can continue with the split thread for the Product being added to the Cart.

Thanks I hope you can understand as this helps us to maintain a streamlined forum so that other users can get assistance from past threads quickly.

Thanks,
Shane
