I have been trying to add an archive to the front end view, with no success. Each time I try to add one it shows 'Another item already uses this name. Please use another name.'
I have disabled all plugins then tried with no luck.
I have removed all items from the system in Toolset but still with no luck.
I uninstalled and removed the plugins completely and still no luck.

This now happened on all archive options.
All cache has been cleared

What is the link to your site?
The site is hidden link which uses divi. It is only a test site with the purpose of seeing how Toolset works and if it is a viable option

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

As the error says: 'Another item already uses this name. Please use another name.'

There is another archive already created using name you are currently using. Can you please try to create archive with name like "Pods archive latest" and you will be able to create archive.

Do you not think I tried that it does not work at all.

That is strange. Can you please share admin access details so I can check whats going wrong with your setup.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

I updated the Toolset Blocks and Toolset Types plugin on the site you shared with me and I can see the issue is gone and I can create the archive now but while seeing this little progress, it seems I discover another issue.

After I give the name and click on the button "Create WordPress Archive", it shows me normal edit post screen rather it should offer me the archive in block mode.

Can you confirm it happens with you, if yes: Can you please try to run a compatibility test:
- Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes? Do you see any difference?
- Can you please try to disable/delete all cache and check if that helps.

I am still getting the same issue
The part you mention is probably due to the theme and using the classic editor, I have turned that off.

Unfortunately when I go into add a new archive under products or Manufacturers I am still getting the same error message.

I cleared the cache and still get the same problem

I'm not sure what issue you are having or why you do not able to create the archive.

As you can see I created the manufecurers archive on first try only and it works as expected:

Hi thanks for that, yes when I go in now and select to add a new archive page this works.

What did you have to do though to get that working, so if we do have this happen we will be able to make the relevant changes?

thank you

Great and good to know that you able to see it working 🙂

I just removed all non-used archive from the "Trash":
=> hidden link

I can now evaluate the issue
I do think though you have a bug if an item is in the trash and that is stopping you from adding another archive even though they are not the same name then maybe it should not allow it to be added to trash but removed straight away. Or if an item is in the trash it should not stop the creation of another record.

I will keep you updated on other issues I find
