I just need help creating an archive of posts that uses a theme other than the default WordPress theme.

Each time I attempt to create a new WordPress archive page, with a new custom post type with taxonomy, In an attempt to use beaver builder I'm still stuck with the default WordPress menu design on the right-hand side along with all the information that comes with it. It goes against the design of the website and I can't seem to fix it.

Hello,

I suggest you try to follow our document to setup the Views WordPress Archive for post type "Posts":
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-toolset-with-beaver-builder/creating-templates-for-wordpress-archive-pages-with-beaver-builder/

If it is WordPress built-in post type "Posts", you can try the option "Home/Blog", see screenshot home-blog.JPG

For the menu problem, Views WordPress Archive works in content area, the menu is outside content area, it should be controlled by your theme or Beaver Builder plugin, so there might be a compatibility problem in your website.

I suggest you try these:
1) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2019, and test again
2) If the problem is fixed, activate other plugins/theme one by one, try to locate the problem plugin/theme
