[Resolved] Creating a dropdown for child taxonomy as custom filter

i am creating a custom filter for the tours cpt. i am using a taxonomy "country" as the filter. in the country taxonomy, there is a country with a child category.

on the screenshot, i want the north vietnam and central vietnam to be hidden if vietnam is not selected.

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Unfortunately no this is not possible at the moment. We don't have the ability to only list the top level taxonomies.

Hi Shane,

But is there no way to hide those sub-categories via css, or any other way? Seems like they should somehow be differentiated in the code right? And then could possibly be targeted to hide?
