Is there a way to create a custom content type that writes to its own database table?

Please advise... Thanks

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Toolset follows the WordPress standard to store the custom post type content and all post type posts will be stored to wp_posts database table.

However, in order to confirm what you want:
- As I understand you have created a custom post type X and you want that new post you create for post type X (from admin) should be stored in custom database table, if this is true? - There is no such feature available.
