hi,
i have the need to create a custom glossay index of categorized posts link specified in the forum post https://toolset.com/forums/topic/az-glossary.

i followed the steps provided in that thread, but it's only partially working: if you look at hidden link, you'll see that the glossary is created in the taxonomy view (on the left), and that the posts of the alphabet cat are listed, but the single-letter filters don't work.

the setup part is working, because not all the letters are present, and the ones that are not in the glossay list are correctly dropped because no posts are marked for those taxonomy terms (letters J, K, W, Y), so i think that the only part that isn't working is the filter selection output: if i select someting (e.g. the "E" letter), i get no output.

see: hidden link

another problem is that the "all" link goes to a non-existent url, because i cannot see the hidden link in the function snippet - see uploaded screenshots.

did i forgot something? please note that i exactly did the specified steps, but only those ones (1, 2 and 3 from the Minesh post of January 11, 2017 at 6:59 am), so if i need to add some other actions, thi is the problem ?

if you need i can provide admin access to WP.

thx,
s.

ps: i first added my request to the old thread, but i noticed only after doing that the alert that the post was marked as closed, so the staff may not reply toit. i apologize for this topic duplication 🙁

Hi there

Let's get the View filter working first.

Did you add a Query Filter to your View which lists authors?

If you cannot see the Query Filter section you need to expose it using the Screen Options tab at the very top of the page.

Then insert a taxonomy filter, for the glossary taxonomy, and specify that the value is set by a URL parameter wpvalphabet.

Can you confirm that you have done that? I expect the filtering should then work.
