Country dropdown select custom field for user forms(Registration form)

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: In my Form, I would like to include a select field with options for each Country, so Users can select their Country of origin when registering for the site.

Solution: Toolset does not include built-in Country select fields, but another User has created a module that includes information for importing such a field. You may import information from that module as a starting point.

I can't understand why toolset does not provide a simple way of displaying countries in a dropdown select field. Am I missing this feature? I simpleed need for users registration on my site to be able to select their country of residence from a dropdown select field.

Hello, you are correct in that there's no built-in Country select field type, but other Users have created custom modules for similar purposes. You can use Toolset's Module Manager plugin to import their custom fields as a starting point if you'd like. My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
For those still wondering how to get this work for user forms, I did the following:
1) Created a custom field "country" under Toolset-> Custom Fields->User Fields
2) I manually added 3 fields in the select field.
3) I exported the types settings und Export/Import
4) I copied and pasted the other countries on this list downloaded from here : hidden link in my XML file.
5) I imported the xml I initially exported and that was it. All countries were in.
