[Resolved] Contributor role not able to delete relationships

I have a post type called Students and a post type called Route.
Connecting the two is a relationship that I call a Route Assignment. When I view a Student I can see the delete assignment button, as show in the attached image.
When I access the Student under the Contributor role I can no longer see the delete assignment button.
This problem is not related to Access - when I delete the plugin the problem remains.

Do you mean that when you loggedin as administrator you able to see the delete button but not when you loggedin as contributor user? If yes:
- Can you please share problem URL where you added the delete button as well as administrator user and contributor user access details.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
I do not see the switch option but it would be great if you can share the username and password for the contributor user Stephenie in order to eliminate doubt of possible conflict with the plugin.

As you were using many-to-many post relationship the Delete permission should be set to both Student and Route post type. I already set the Delete permission for both Route and Student post type:

I can see the Delete relationship button now:
