I am trying to:
To create a custom template using WP Bakery for our blog custom posts

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
hidden link

I expected to see:
An wpbakery editor where I can edit the template

Instead, I got:
Nothing - there is no option to edit the template, the help icon says "Add fields to the template to display the content. Use HTML tags for styling." however we have followed your guide on creating a template using WP Bakery
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-toolset-with-wpbakery-page-builder/creating-templates-for-wordpress-archive-pages/

Please go to WPBakery > General Settings and disable the Gutenberg editor checkbox. Then try again, this should fix the problem. Let me know if you continue to experience the issue and I can take a closer look.
