Tell us what you are trying to do?
I created a content template and asigned it to a custom post type. When I create a new post the content template doesn't apply automatically, insteed I have to manually add it in the wordpress editor.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Can you please paste your Toolset Debug information in the Debug information field?

If you are using Toolset Layouts, make sure there is no layout assigned to this custom post type.

If you are using WPML, make sure that content templates have language information assigned. Go to WPML->Support->Troubleshooting and run the "Set Language Information" button after making a database backup.

If this does not help, we may need to take a copy of your website for some local debugging. Let us know if that's ok with you.

Hi Jamal, thanks for your reply. I'm using Layouts and Woocommerce Views. I tried to unassign the layout for the custom post type (Artistas in this case) but the content template still doesn't asign automatically. On the other hand, i have a layout and a content template asigned to the woocommerce products that works well. If you need to make a clone of the site, please, go ahead.

Can you please tell me from where you are creating the post - from backend or frontend and what content template is not assigned to your post.

Can you please share steps that I should follow on your install to see the issue.

I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

Content Templates modify the content when called from the WordPress’ built-in the_content function. Some themes do not use the_content function, but define their own function. In this case, Content Templates are not applied to selected posts on the front-end.

I see you are using the Enfold theme and Enfold theme do not use the standard the_content() function to display the content for the content area of your theme.

The only way to fix your issue is you will require to create a single post PHP template to display the single post of your post type and use the the_content() function to display your content area.
