I am trying to:

This is on the backend so I

1) Open the content template menu

2) Select my content template

3) Select the content to which it should apply

4) Open the Divi Builder

5) Open the text module (this often doesn't work and it crashes)

6) If the text window opens I access the short codes by the fields box and select my content

7) I see the add code box is not green but purple

8) When I click it I expect to see my short code added but nothing happens

9) Usually if I add another module the whole thing crashes

10) Repeat and find that the content I assigned to the template has been lost so click to "bind 53 posts"

And go back again.

I have tried it with all plugins disabled. I have updated to latest Toolset modules but NOT Divi I am still on v3

Hi Roger,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

I've checked your website and noticed that the "The Latest Divi Builder Experience" option in the Divi's theme option is enabled.

As explained in the documentation ( https://toolset.com/documentation/recommended-themes/toolset-divi-integration/ ), that option is currently not supported with Toolset.

Please go to WP Admin -> Divi -> Theme Options, form the Builder tab's "Advanced" section, disable "The Latest Divi Builder Experience" and enable the "Classic Editor" option.

As for the website's crashes or timeout issues, you can turn on the WordPress debugging ( ref: https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/ ) and then see if any errors or warnings are logged on screen or in server's error logs. They should give more insight into why this is happening.

I hope this helps and please let me know how it goes.

regards,
Waqar
