A recent update to Toolset now means by default new posts content template are set to "Dynamically Assigned by Toolset." instead of "None".

I do not have any content templates assigned to posts, and previous support threads said "If there isn't any content template assigned to the Post type then it should display using the default template by your theme." (https://toolset.com/forums/topic/disable-content-template-dinamically-assigned-by-toolset/) however this is not the case for me.

If I select content template = None, then Divi displays the post correctly.

If I select (or leave because it's default) "Dynamically assigned..." and I do NOT have a content template assigned to posts, the post page is broken and does not display correctly.

I just want either:

1. Default content template to be set back to None like it used to be in previous versions
or 2. If Dynamically Assigned is selected, but no content template exists for Posts then it should display the theme default template

Hello,

Yes, it is correct: "If there isn't any content template assigned to the Post type then it should display using the default template by your theme."

The problem you mentioned above is abnormal, please check these in your website:
1) Make sure you are using the latest version of Toolset plugins, you can download them here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to origin Divi theme, and test again

3) If the problem still persists, please provide a copy of your website, you can put the package files in your own google drive disk, share the link only, also point out the problem page URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks

Updating from 1.6 to 1.6.1 and 3.4.11 to 3.4.12 has fixed it, although the changelog didn't say anything about this issue.

Thanks
