This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

I have created a CPT and added a Custom Field (radio button). This is set up to display on a page using a Content Template for this CPT.

Field Name - Real Estate
Radio options - Owned, Leased, None

No matter which of these is selected, the value that is displayed on the web page is "Leased"

Solution:

The problem you mentioned above is abnormal, there might be other cache/compatibility issue in your website, please try these:

Toolset - Content Not Displaying Correctly.jpg

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have created a CPT and added a Custom Field (radio button). This is set up to display on a page using a Content Template for this CPT.

Field Name - Real Estate
Radio options - Owned, Leased, None

No matter which of these is selected, the value that is displayed on the web page is "Leased"

I have uploaded an image of the Real Estate field setup in the Field Group, Content Template (field&text and settings), Post entry showing "Owned" as selected, Webpage display showing "Leased"

Thoughts on what is causing this?

Thank you.

Hello,

The problem you mentioned above is abnormal, there might be other cache/compatibility issue in your website, please try these:
1) deactivate all other plugins, and switch to WordPress default theme 2021, and test again
2) If the problem is fixed, then activate other plugin/theme one by one, try to locate the problem plugin

Hello,
I tried deactivating plugins and changed theme to Twenty Twenty-one. This did not fix the problem.

This believe this field was working properly a few days ago. I do not know when it stopped working.

I recall that WordPress recently updated to 5.9. Any possibility that WordPress update caused it? If so, how would I test this?

Update - I used a plugin - WP Downgrade - to roll back to WP version 5.8.3. This did not fix the problem.

Thoughts on next steps?

My issue is resolved now. Thank you for the prompt reply!

I backed up the WP site at host and restored a version that was saved yesterday. The problem was no longer there.

I then restored the backup that I had just saved, and the problem was also not there. Don't know why, but restoring the database must have refreshed something that solved the problem.

I am not sure that this is fixed, so reopening this ticket in case needed. I will post an update if this happens again.
