Hi,

I am redesigning the web and previously I have successfully started to create a Layout for single page with the help of Content Layout Editor. But now, when I click on the button "Edit with Layouts", it results in not_found page...
What is weird also - when I try to use Layout Content editor on other single pages, it looks like it is working good...
Thanks for any ideas!
Vlasta

Is this just from one post?
Please save the content of the post, delete it, and recreate it.

If that solves the issue it is due to a corruption of the database values during saving the post.
That can happen generally for example due to temporary database disconnections or ISP issues, that you may not even notice during the process.
It's unusual to happen, however.

If this appears on other posts as well, please try this:
- create a new user in the role that your current user is
- login with that user
- check if this still happens
- if not delete the old user and assign all content to the new user (as well here, it would be due to a Database corruption.)

Then it may be due to updates or changes made to the site.
For example, I see that you use security plugins, and the one you use is so advanced it can stop WordPress Plugins altogether from working if you set it too "strongly".
I've had issues in past with iThemes Security and WPML for example, where too strong security settings broke WPML.

This may as well happen here if you somehow blocked, for example, AJAX calls or similar.

If all above steps do not help to solve this issue at all, the best is to check with no other plugins and a native WordPress theme.
If then that issue still happens, maybe you could add a copy of your site?

Hi Beda,
thank you for your ideas! I tried restore previous version of the post and the Layouts editor started to work. But when I saved the post, it is again showing not_found page...
Can you tell me, how can I save the copy of the page? I have switched to WP editor and copy html output, but when I insert it into new post and open it in Layouts Editor, it will not accept all previously saved rows and cells - the result is one Visual Editor Cell with all the html content in it.

Yes, you would need to recreate that single Content Layout.
I mean to save the actual "content" and re-paste it into the right cells later.

As long this really happens only with this one post!
if this happens with other posts we need to look into this, as then it'd be something repeatable.
