sorry I closed my last support ticket too early. Then I received the answer of wpbakery.
My issue is that I cannot change design (e.g. Background) in a template which is created with wpbakery page builder.
According to your documentation it should work fine together with "views".

please find the answer from support of wpbakery:

"The issue with template is because it adds the design options such as background in template and then template is pulled onto another page/post. The design options fail to render when it is rendered in such manner. It can only be rendered on the page where it is added."

please advise

on other Posts or pages the wpbakery design Options work well if it is created without toolset.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

well - I do not know is it you created the duplicate tickets but I will close the other duplicate tickets and we will continue with your issue here.

Can you please share few screenshots as well as problem URL where I can see the issue?

Hi Minesh,
please can you set my answer on private. You need the admin account with passcodes to see the template.

Thanks

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Sorry but can you please share few screenshots what background color you want to apply exactly where?

Do you mean that you set the background color for your text blocks and that is not visible on front-end?

#1224561

Exactly. I would like to be able to set any Background Color for text blocks and it is not visible on front-end.

I don´t have any screenshots because I´m not able to produce any Color changes.

Ok - I found that there is a conflict between Yoast plugin.

If you deactivate the Yoast plugin you will see the background color you set to your text block or column or row using WP Bakery page builder:
=> hidden link

I've escalated this as compatibility issue to our next level support for further debugging to ensure that if issue is from our end it should get fixed otherwise this issue should be passed to compatibility team and they will contact the plugin author and there is no ETA on the fix.

Ok - I get workaround for this issue.

You need to activate the Excerpt by editing your post type from:
=> Toolset => Post Types => Edit your post type and check mark the Excerpt field

Then go to your any post and add some text to Excerpt field :
=> hidden link

And I can see the background color you set works fine:
=> hidden link

We also published errata page for this:

thanks Minesh,

I am a bit frustrated due to the fact that Types and Yoast cause a conflict. Yoast is a very important Plugin which has almost no alternatives.
Two weeks ago I opened a support ticket with an issue. This issue was fixed by yourself. Yesterday this problem existed again. Maybe caused by an update of Yoast Plugin?

Do you or the next level support have any recommendations how to fix this? For now I am not able to work with toolset without having a next problem.

For now, to fix this, as I shared workaround, you need to add the Excerpt field by editing your post type which I shared with the following reply:
=> https://toolset.com/de/forums/topic/conflict-of-toolset-with-wpbakery-page-builder/#post-1225105

We already escalated this issue to our compatibility department and they are handling it. As this is a compatibility issue where we need co-operation from the plugin author as well, there is no ETA on it when the official fix will be available.
