[Resolved] Conflict between Toolset Views and X-Theme/Cornerstone Page Builder

I am trying to: integrate Types and Views from Toolset into a site being built wth X theme and the Cornerstone Page Builder (not the cornerstone theme) from Themeco.

I visited this URL: hidden link

I expected to see: the videos load in the right column.

Instead, I got: just container frames around where the videos should be.

I tracked the conflict down to the Toolset Views plugin. When it's enabled, the videos don't load. When it's disabled, they DO load, but then my views don't work.

1. Please make sure all Toolset plugins are updated to latest versions as a primary check.

Hi Noman - I have made sure the plugins are up to date. I was able to make some progress on the Cornerstone side of things (the Page Builder the theme uses). They have two methods for adding video to a page... one is a Video Player element, and the second is an Embed Video element. The Video Player is the one that doesn't work. If you go to the page I included in my original post, you'll see me using both on that page... and you'll see that some of them don't display the video. I left examples of both on that page in case it would help troubleshoot this.

I'm not seeing the Debug Info box, so will send it as a follow up to this if needed.

Hello Carlos,

I have again enabled the degun information box. Please try to only add a “Video Player element” on a new page and see if it works fine in a new page?

Also I have noticed that Toolset server requirements are not same as required. You can see the minimum Toolset requirements here: https://toolset.com/toolset-requirements/

- MySQL 5.5.30 version in your site, is lower than the required for Toolset. You can contact your website hosting company to upgrade this for you.

If the problem still continues, please let us know and we will further check it.

I created a new page and added a Video Player element and am still getting the same results:

I checked with my hosting provider and upgrading MySQL to 5.6.x requires a server upgrade, so it's not something I can do right away (I host 30 sites on the server).

Since I am able to add video using Cornerstone's Embed Video element instead, my problem is fixable, but if it were possible to figure out why the Video Player element doesn't work, that would be great.

This conflict issue is not reproduced on my test WordPress site, I have installed and activated Cornerstone Page Builder plugin 2.0.3 >> Created a page >> and added Video Player element and its working good.

1. So it looks like that problem is only in your site somehow. May be it happens only with a specific theme, are you using original X Theme?

2. Can you please also try to check it by deactivating all third-party plugins (I know you have already done but with the default theme) and switching back to the Default Theme (e.g. Twenty Sixteen theme) to see for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?

If the issue still exists after trying above, we would need to request for a Duplicator copy of the site to debug further. Thank you

I was able to solve the problem by using the Cornerstone Embed Video element instead of their Video Player element, so I can consider this fixed.
