I am trying to: get rid of a Toolset warning message that keeps on appearing even though toolset is no longer installed on the site.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: it's in the admin dashboard only.

I expected to see: no message warning of Toolset's inability to connect to Toolset.com

Instead, I got: the big dialog box pictured.

More detail:

I was building this site hidden link and had installed Toolset expecting to use it to build some of the wonderful things it builds. But the client's requirements changed and I found that I wasn't going to need it. So I deactivated and deleted both Types and Views.

But now I keep getting this warning message on the admin dashboard. The client's content editors are complaining about it and I feel it reflects poorly on the work I did for them.

How do I get rid of it?

Hi Chris,

I checked on the site to see what is happening and it appears that your site is communicating to our servers correctly.

However I would recommend trying the following to clear the message.

Regenerate your site key by following the instructions in the link below.
https://toolset.com/faq/how-to-install-and-register-toolset/#automatic-installation-once-you-have-types-plugin-installed

Paying close attention to step 3.

Once you've done this go to Dashboard -> Updates and click Check Again and the warning notice should no longer appear.

Please let me know if this clears the message for you.
Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

I have reinstalled Toolset, activated it with a new key clicked 'Check Again' and the message persists. Doesn't seem to matter if Toolset Types is activated or not, registered or not.

Hi Chris,

I managed to get rid of the message by following the instructions I sent to you previously. See Screenshot

Right now you perhaps need to generate a completely new key for the site given that the key I used was generated by me using my support account.

Thanks,
Shane
