[Resolved] Communication Error

This support ticket is created 3 years, 10 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I get this error message

Things I have already tried:

- Unregister / Register again the site key
- Deactivated Wordfence
- Everything is updated
- Standard theme with only Types activated

Thank you for getting in touch.

Can you let me know if this is the first time this issue has occurred ? or has it occurred before.

As the notice states that your server is blocking the outgoing connections to Toolset.com.

I would suggest given that you've disabled your security plugin that you check with your host for them to see if their firewall is blocking the outgoing connections.

Also what you can try doing is to go to Dashboard -> Updates and click on check for updates to see if this resolves the issue.

With this kind of notification is the first time.
Have you noticed that the error report "Site key not matching " ?

I have checked the registration and it's correct.
Deleted the key on Toolset and re-registered the site, but didn't help.

The problem started few days ago, but it was just a warning about the site key.

Could be related to the recent Types update 3.4.7 on February 2, 2021 ?

Hello,

Would it be possible to get access to the site ? So that I can run a few tests?

I've seen issues where the site key isn't working but none with the "site key not matching".

Once i'm able to have a look at the site I should be able to have a better understanding of the issue. Has there been any changes in the site before and after the notices started displaying ?

Funny, the error is gone.
Please notice that it disappeared without any further intervention from my side.
