[Resolved] commenting system in layout

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Inserting Comment Cell in Layout template and applying this layout on CPT, displays the Comment box twice on frontend.

Solution:
It turns out that this is not a bug but a restriction for the comment cell. In other words this cell is only usable at moment for themes which do not output any comments field or is useful for themes that provides full integration with Toolset. So in this case this cell might not be used with your theme. Moreover our development team has not finalized any workaround for this so far.

This support ticket is created 7 years ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

The commenting system in layout need to enable once for the cpt or individual control?

Am i right to say that once you enable the commenting system the old post need to update manually ?

Hi Noman, thanks., i am confuse too in layout if i were to add the cell-comments i have duplications , so what is the purpose for this ? currently using default wordpress comment . thanks for explanations.

Thanks for more details, I am able to reproduce this issue with Layouts Comment cell. I have now escalated this issue to our 2nd tier support for further review and we will get back to you with an update.

The above problem is the i couldn't use the "submit ticket" button anymore. its blocked.

2 . ill create new post here and will move to new one when the forum bug is solved.

:: whats the best way to create post/child relationship/ to many CPT ..

it was fine when ONLY one CPT is selected , if i select few the CPT is displayed as the selection field inside .

is this the limitation of toolset ?

What i would like is to have a custom field group " nearby mall" attached to 3 CPT.

the group field contain two field. 1. name of the mall, 2. distance

this two field should be available for the 3 CPT.

Currently im unable to achieve this.Please advice. thanks.

==> There can be certain up and downs today, as our systems team is working on updating our site and forums with improvements, but it should be working fine after some time or this issue might occurred while we were uploading new files to the site.
