Tell us what you are trying to do?
Hi, I'm building a property listing page, I would like the log-in user to have their own customize profile dashboard which:
1. displays their own listing with edit button(**this I already achieved**)
2. have profile URL so other can visit this profile to see this agency(User)'s listing.
3. adding custom field in author's profile such as: contact phone, agency name..etc.
4.Show author's customized information in each properties

I have notice that in Toolset template "C&B properties" the "agency" is a "custom post type" but not "author".
so in this case if I create a CPT for agency plus CPT for properties, then in the "add new property"any new user(author) can assign other agency(CPT) for properties, this is something I'm trying to avoid.

can anyone guide me through this problem?
Thanks in advance!

Hello and thank you for contacting Toolset support.

I am sorry, but I am a bit confused, especially because you used the word "agency", I assume you meant "Agent", right?

In our demo, when a user submits a new property, it needs to be reviewed by an admin before it is published. The form will create the post in the "Pending review" status. It is the admin who will connect the property to an agent. For a new user, he will need to create an agent post for the user that has submitted the property if it does not exist. Basically, everything is reviewed or added by the admin before it is published.

Please correct me if I am wrong, I understood that you want to have an Agent post(what you called profile) for any user who submits a new property. Then display its data on properties pages, and maybe display the properties in the Agent page, right?
If yes, the demo website explains very well how to display this. Check the content templates for the Property and the Agent post type.

What is still needed, is a way to automatically have a profile for any new user, and automatically connect it to the properties that he has submitted. Please check this article, I am sure that's what you are looking for https://toolset.com/course-lesson/how-to-create-custom-searches-and-relationships-for-users/

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
