I've designed the site using Post Types , Layouts ( with views ) and Content Templates .
Now I would like to start using Blocks and keep using what I already have designed with WPBakery but it looks like this is not possible
Does this mean I have to restart the whole structure and flow from the bottom up ?
Is there a migration path to do this ?
Best regards
Dirk

Hi Dirk,

Thank you for getting in touch.

The problem with using Blocks is that it is meant to be wholesome builder. So if you plan to use Blocks only then you will need to redesign your entire site.

However there is a setting in views that will allow you to enable the blocks builder which provides the exact same functionality of our Blocks plugin.

To enable this you can go to Toolset -> Settings -> Editing Experience and enable the 3rd option. This will allow you to use Blocks as well as Views, so you wont need to rebuild your site but can extend it with the blocks functionality.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane
