Tell us what you are trying to do?
Trying to change content on site to blank (empty) field. If you look at the link below you will see a set of fields along the right side of the screen as you scroll. I am going in and deleting the word "Unknown" from these fields so that they will be empty. Upon deleting the "Unknown" text and saving, when I refresh the word "Unknown" has been re-entered into the field and they are not being left empty.

Please see this Loom link for a recording of the issue: hidden link

Also, I have cleared the cache on the site and the browser numerous times and that does not help.

What is the link to your site?
hidden link

This is just one link. This is happening on multiple links.

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Our developers are aware of this bug that was introduced on the latest release. We have published a known issue about it here https://toolset.com/errata/cannot-delete-existing-custom-field-values-after-types-update/

For the moment, there are no fixes or workarounds about it. We'll let you know as soon as we have a fix.

Best regards,
Jamal

Thank you for letting me know. I was not aware of the issue. Are you saying that you will leave this ticket open and give me a reply when this issue has been corrected or by we'll let you know you mean in the general public/update you'll let me know?

#1928365

Thank you for your feedback. I meant that I will reply back when the issue is fixed. Even if this thread is closed, I'll let you know, because I have added this ticket to our internal issues tracker. Once the internal issue is fixed, I will be notified and I'll notify all the users that have reported this issue.

I would suggest closing this ticket. But, if you prefer to let it open until we have a fixed, it's fine, we can keep it open 🙂

Hello again! The developers informed us that this issue will be addressed in the upcoming Types 3.4.7 release. We plan to get that release ready and out to the public as soon as possible, and I will keep you informed here as I receive more information.

Hello again,

Today we have published a new release of Toolset Types that fixes this issue. Please make a full site backup, then update Toolset plugins in Plugins->Add New->Commercial(tab). If the new version does not appear, please use the "Check for Updates" button to force a new check.
Let us know if this works for you.

Best regards,
Jamal
