Hi Shane,

Thanks

Hi Nicola,

The checkbox for guests need to be checked for it to show for guests in order for it work.

As you can see for admins the permissions is permanently checked, right now unless you can get it checked then it won't work for guests.

Would you mind allowing me to have FTP access to the website ?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Nicola,

I tried logging using FTP but they don't seem to work.

At this point I would suggest disabling Access or trying to re-upload the file from your cpanel.

It could be that an issue occurred during the upload.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,
done.

The result is that if Access is DEACTIVATED the form displays normally, AND the checkbox in the format you suggested works !

If Access is activated the form is not displayed, even though Pages are set as "not managed by Access". Can't tell about the checkbox (even though from Admin it doesn't work).

It looks like there is some kind of conflict between Access and Forms. I have exported Filezilla setting in an XML file please let me know how can I send it to you.
Many thanks
Regards,
Nicola

Hi Nicola,

Its not a conflict between access and forms.

It is an access issue where you're not able to select the checkbox to allow guests to have access to the form.

It's described right here
https://toolset.com/errata/checkboxes-in-toolset-access-forms-settings-are-not-working/

Unless we can ensure this file is uploaded then it won't work. I tried the FTP but it doesn't work. The file directory isn't loading.

Could you test it out on your end and let me know if you're able to see the file directories?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,
ok, good to know that is a known issue, do you have an idea when the new Access update will be released ?
In the meantime I can guarantee you that the JS file has been updated, I have normal access to my server folders via FTP or CPanel and I updated it both via FTP and CPanel yesterday.
Is there any way I can send you the XML file with login details ?
thanks
Regards
Nicola
BTW - what about the other checkbox yu suggested me ? graphically it works but the field doesn't get selected

Hi Nicola,

The replacing of the checkbox field with a generic field actually works. I've tested this out with a test user I created and the privacy option get populated on the backend.

All that was needed was to add "persist": 1 and it worked.

Also I do not have an ETA when this release will be made.

For the XML file you can upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox and send the share link to me.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane
1. As you can see from the attached image the checkbox is written as you suggested, although the field is not set on the backend. As usual I have deactivated Avada but it still doesn't work. Don't know what to think, I am sure that on your website works, please feel free to access my site and check.

2. XML: I'll upload it to Dropbox for you, please enable private messages.

3. Access issue: I will deactivate it until fix and use a workaround instead

Thanks
Regards,
Nicola

Hi Nicola,

I've enabled the private fields so that you can provide me with the xml file

However i've recorded a short video that shows that the field get checked when the form is submitted.

Hi Shane,
the video speaks by itself !, I tried and actually it works now. I noticed that Access is deactivated, do you think Access has anything to do with that ? I am closing this ticket now, please let me know when Access fix will be released.
Thanks you very much for your help.
Kind regards
Nicola
