[Resolved] Checkbox field type considered as being a text field type in a search view

This support ticket is created 4 years, 9 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

Hello,

When adding a checkbox field type as a filter in a search view, this field is considered as being a text field type. Meaning that the end user has to input a text instead of ticking a checkbox.

What you can do is use the field setting option to change the type of filter. See Screenshot

Thanks Shane, yes, that helps! 🙂 I was so surprised (it did not happen that way previously) that I didn't even think of having a look at those settings.
